Overview

Performs occupational therapy procedures and other related tasks under the direction of a Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) and assists the OTR/L in patient activities.

Supervises technicians, volunteers and students as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

Education:
Graduate of AOTA accredited educational program for Occupational Therapists Assistants required. Must have current Alabama license. Must receive BCLS certification within orientation period. Prefer member of AOTA.

None required


Additional Skills/Abilities:

Must have excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment.
