    As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for a nimble team responsible for building the engine which makes Connect our most successful program. You'll manage a team of talented software engineers, all of whom are passionate about education and are experienced up and down the tech stack. Successful managers will be able to lead a team by setting technical direction, taking on implementation duties, and by fostering a creative environment allowing for novel solutions to difficult problems.

  • Qualifications:

  • 3 years relevant work experience, including Tech Lead or Manager responsibilities including 3 years leading a team that delivered on customer needs
  • Passionate about education
  • Empathy for students
  • Experience building reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems and products
  • Experience with large scale distributed systems in a public cloud
  • Expertise with front ends, data layers, and protocols
  • Thrive in a polyglot development environment
  • A motivated individual who enjoys finding creative solutions to new problems
