Description

We are seeking for a skilled and dependable CDL Class A Night Shift Yard Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class A license and experience in yard driving operations. As a Night Shift Yard Driver, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the movement of trailers within our facility during night hours.
Responsibilities:

• Safely maneuver and transport trailers within the yard area using a tractor-trailer combination.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of trailers at the dock as needed, ensuring efficient and timely operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations. Report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and other drivers to coordinate trailer movements and optimize yard efficiency.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time, including logbooks, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned equipment and work area, including performing minor maintenance tasks as needed.

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in yard driving operations preferred.
