    AWS Cloud Architect
    NJ/NYC/Dallas

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based solutions that meet business requirements and scalability needs.
    • Collaborate with development teams to create microservices-based applications using Java and Angular.
    • Provide technical leadership in the design and development of complex, distributed systems.
    • Develop and maintain application architecture guidelines and best practices.
    • Evaluate and select appropriate AWS services and technologies to optimize system performance and cost-efficiency.
    • Ensure the security and compliance of AWS environments and applications.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve AWS-related issues in a timely manner.
    • Stay up-to-date with AWS services and industry trends to recommend improvements and new solutions.
    • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on AWS best practices and technologies.
    • Help other development and engineering teams resolve application to platform integration issues for Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) services
    • Research and propose solutions for AWS data transformation, data connections, operational frameworks, and application integration
    • Work closely with lead architects and engineers to create and maintain architectural templates and build/operational documents
    Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as an AWS Architect or similar role.
    • Strong expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and VPC.
    • Proficiency in Java and Angular for microservices-based application development.
    • In-depth knowledge of application architecture principles and best practices.
    • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.


    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge and practical experience with AWS
    • Strong programming skills with experience in Webhook and API development using , Ruby, Python, Shell, and PowerShell
    • Familiarity with modern cloud application architecture
    • Exposure to cloud managed services and microservices like Function as a Service, Containers, and managed databases
    • Architecture Certification (TOGAF, EACOE, etc.)
    • Cloud Platform and managed services experience (Azure/AWS)

    Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field or an equivalent
