Kansas City, MO - Permanent/Direct Hire opportunity - eligible for over-time hours paid at time and a half

Controls Engineer:

Must Haves:

• Education: Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor Science Electrical Engineering, or Bachelor Science Electrical Engineering & Technology, or equivalent relevant work experience with a technical degree
• 1 – 4 years of industry experience working for a systems integrator;
• Programming Knowledge (Rockwell PLC/HMI's are preferred but are open to similar software's)
• RSLogix 5, 5000, RS Networx ,DriveExecutive, DriveExplorer, PanelBuilder PDS, 1400e; 32, RSView Studio

Plusses:

• Conveyors experience (digital process systems)
• VFD is preferred (Rockwell preferred)

Day to Day: Insight Global are looking for Control Engineers that must be able to perform the design of control systems, from start to finish, as well as the engineering and field start up for the "System Integration in the Electrical Controls" Industry for manufacturing in Kansas City, MO. Demonstrated trouble shooting skills are absolutely necessary. As part of the automation control system design, this candidate will review specifications and adhere to standard practices. They will also create system maps, design PLC logic, and develop HMI screens. Additionally, they will handle field duties such as assisting with installations, conducting start-up and debugging activities, and providing launch and standby support at customer facilities. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with solid experience as a systems integrator, who is looking for career growth with a major organization. They will be able to work with a team but be expected to work independently as needed.

Senior Controls Engineer:

Must Haves:
