    POSITION SCOPE
    The VP Finance will report to the CFO. The role encompasses all aspects of financial management oversight, including KPI/Flash reporting, budgeting and variance reporting, forecast preparation,

    strategic/acquisition


    due diligence, development of analytical tools, treasury management, as well as ownership of financial presentations for internal and external purposes.

    The individual will also assist the CFO and Finance team in analyzing actual and projected financial performance while ensuring adequate financial flexibility to allow for profitable growth.


    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Build analytical tools and models to enable analysis in support of restaurant operations, marketing, and development initiatives, as requested by CFO or other senior leaders.
    • Attend regular P&L review meetings and brand strategy/tactic sessions; assist in developing plans to drive profitability.
    • Design and carry out processes to ensure restaurant managers have the right information to set goals and make decisions.
    • Coordinate and align monthly and quarterly reporting materials for the Leadership Team and restaurant managers, including operations reporting and analysis materials that inform on risks and opportunities as well as ongoing performance vs plan/budget.
    • Facilitate the rolling financial forecasting and annual budgeting processes, creating sound financial plans in support of strategic vision of the Company.
    • Ensure that financial results and forecasts are reported accurately and in a timely manner to the executive team.
    • Create and develop different ad-hoc financial and business models as needed.
    • Effectively manage cash and equivalents including the proper utilization of working capital.
    • Responsible for maintenance and change management of internal and external financial statements.
    • Complete ad hoc analyses and strategic projects as required by management.
    EXPERIENCE + EDUCATION
    Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree and/or professional certification (e.g. CPA, CFA, etc.) preferred.
    10+ years of experience in finance, financial reporting, and analysis; restaurant or retail experience preferred (multi-unit, multi-state).
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent presentation skills.
    Demonstrated competence in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and presentation.
    Knowledge of all aspects regarding Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting technical skills.
    Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.
    Experience with private equity ownership preferred.
