    Parker-Hannifin PARFLEX Division- Manitowoc, WI

    Parflex-Manitowoc manufactures multiple types of braided plastic and rubber hose and polypropylene tubing used by the air and space community, military, utility companies, farm implements and U.S. defense contractors.

    1.Follow written inspection instructions and procedures as detailed in the quality assurance procedure book.

    2.Perform in-process or final audits in various departments as directed by the Senior Q.A. Technician and/or Plant Quality Manager.

    3.Perform required calibration of all measurement equipment, gages, etc. and maintain and upgrade gauge calibration database.

    4.Generate all required tags, tickets, test or inspection reports, and miscellaneous reports.

    5.Issue customer certifications as required.

    6.Report any non-conforming material to Senior Q.A. Technician and/or Plant Quality Manager.

    7.Utilize a personal computer for basic data entry and mainframe data entry retrieval and reports as required.

    8.Set-up and operate machines and complete all Quality Test Lab and related equipment requirements.

    9.Work independently and make routine decisions regarding product quality is required as part of daily job function.

    10.Accountable for process, evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continual basis to meet plant business objectives.

    11.Participate in department and process team activities and projects.

    12.Participate in area and process team activities and projects.

    13.Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Q.A. Technician and/or Plant Quality Manager.

    1.Candidate must possess good interpersonal communication skills to be utilized when dealing with supervisors, engineering and all other employees, as well as customers in the resolution of quality issues.

    2.Must have ability to utilize a wide variety of precision measuring equipment, including electronic and manual gauges, plug gauges, and various testing equipment.

    3.Must be competent in math and analytical skills as required to perform and/or interpret statistical analysis, part drawings, specifications, standards, etc., as well as verbal and written communication.

    4.Requires a high degree of initiative and versatility to successfully complete necessary tasks and work independently with minimal input from the Senior Q.A. Technician and/or Plant Quality Manager.

    5.Must be able to work well with technicians in a team environment to maximize results.

    6.Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent/GED
