- Prepare and deliver lectures on assigned topics
- Provide mentorship, advising and guidance to students in the classroom setting

Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:The Joan M. Lafleur College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Texas Southern University is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to teach Blood Bank in the Clinical Laboratory Science Program as Adjunct Faculty. Under the direction of the Department Chair and the Program Director, the Adjunct Faculty will be responsible for conducting lectures, supervising laboratory work, grading assignments and examinations, and providing support to students in the classroom setting. There is no research or service expectation in this position.
Essential Duties Summary:1.0
Hiring Range:Commensurate with experience.
Education:For an undergraduate course:A bachelor's degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science from an approved program, a master's degree and or appropriate certification in the required field.
Required Licensing/Certification:Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP preferred) and three years' experience in the area they will be teaching.
Valid Texas Driver's License preferred.
