    Job DescriptionWork Schedule: 40% FTE, 16 hours/week. Variable shifts scheduled between the hours of 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM or 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

    We are seeking an Exercise Specialist to:
    Supervise the daily activities of the Fitness Gym. Conduct initial interviews and evaluate new members to develop appropriate exercise prescriptions. Orient new participants to the rules of the facility.

    Education:
    Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related field

    Work Experience:
    Minimum
    • Experience developing and teaching exercise programming to adults.

    Preferred
    • Previous healthcare experience and Computer experience with Microsoft Office SuiteLicenses and Certifications:Minimum
    • Current CPR/AED certification.
