Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

Calling on Special Education Teachers with a teacher certificate in the state of Minnesota Soliant is working with a large, suburban school District just outside Minneapolis, and is seeking contractor teachers to help finish out the school year

We are currently recruiting teachers in the following settings:

Early Childhood Special Education
Resource instruction
Emotional and Behavioral Disorders
Developmental and Cognitive Disabilities

Requirements:

Minnesota PELSB license in Special Education (Tier 3 and 4 at minimum)

Applicants will provide developmentally appropriate instruction for elementary aged students. Additionally, they will:

Assessstudents skills and determine their educational needs
Adaptlessons to meet students needs
Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
Plan activities that are specific to each students abilities
Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups, and one-on-one
Implement IEPs, assess students performance, and track their progress
Update IEPs throughout the school year to reflect students progress and goals
Discuss students progress with parents, other teachers, counselors, and administrators
Prepare and help students transition from grade to grade and from school to life outside of school

Additional details on site locations, classroom sizes, and availability of instructional assistant support, will be shared in a direct interview with the school administrator.
