Job Summary:
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has an opening for a Pharmacy Technician III Part-time position in their Cancer Institute Pharmacy. The successful candidate will assist and support pharmacists in day-to-day dispensing operations, including compounding sterile preparations.Responsibilities:
- Proves competency in sterile compounding by successful completion of sterile product validation and gloved fingertip testing.
- Assists with sterile compounding under the direction of pharmacists.
- Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations.
