Glasgow State Nursing Facility (GSNF) may be the place for you. Weare a state-of-the-art, 100-bed, long-term care nursing facility for individuals with mental illness orintellectual disabilities. We are seeking a Nurse Aide State Registered I for our team in caring andimproving the daily lives of our residents.

    COVID-19 vaccination is recommended.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Performs sub-professional tasks in the personal care of residents in the State residential facility.
  • Aids residents with participation in restorative program including weight bearing/transferring, range ofmotion, exercising, splint application, and ambulation.
  • Aids resident with personal hygiene, nutrition, clothing, and personal property.
  • Observes universal precautions.
  • Positions residents for correct alignment.
  • Checks for repositioning every two hours.
  • Assists in lifting residents according to care plans.
  • Checks, records, or assists with resident vital signs, height, weight, input, and output.
  • Maintains appropriate charting in medical records according to level of responsibility.
  • Attends resident activities and appointments.
  • Maintains interpersonal relationships with residents, families, guardians, and other staff while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Attends all training programs and in services regarding restorative, patient care, and quality of life.
  • Attends all ward conferences and meetings as required.
  • Keeps workplace neat, safe, and clean while observing all facility policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
