    Shift Time: 7a-7:30pm
    Location: Medical Center, US:FL:Lakeland

    Position Summary

    Summary:
    Deliver care to patients under the direction/delegation of the Registered Nurse or licensed nurse assigned by the RN, as needed, and must be able to perform satisfactorily the specific patient care skills as outlined by the facility and the department(s). Must effectively interact with patients, families and other health team members. Must report pertinent information to the RN or licensed nurse assigned by the RN, as needed, and respond to requests for information in a timely manner. Assist with tasks to support patient care.

    Detailed responsibilities:
    * Standard Work Duties: PCA/Float Pool
    - Performs activities of daily living as delegated by the RN.
    - Provides for patient safety, quality, privacy and comfort through intentional/hourly rounding following standard work processes.
    - Immediately communicates any changes in patient condition or behavior to RN.
    - Accurate and timely documentation/communication of vital signs, intake and output, weights.
    - Role models our Promises in every interaction with patients, families and team members.
    - Adheres to HIPPA standards
    - Performs other related duties as assigned

    Qualifications & Experience

    Education:
    Essential:
    * High School or Equivalent

    Education equivalent experience:
    Essential:
    * Approved PCA program

    Other information:
    Certifications Preferred:
    -Certified by state of Florida as PCA

    Experience Essential:
    -Knowledge of required competencies in the care of patients Graduate of approved PCA program

    Experience Preferred:
    -Acute care experience
