- Greet employees, contractors, and visitors and maintain logs as appropriate.
- Perform interior/exterior patrols to observe and monitor surroundings; investigate suspicious/unusual, and unsafe situations; prepare incident, accident, and other reports as required.
- Follow established and applicable laws, rules, and regulations involving investigation, apprehension, and detention.
- Maintain open communication with assigned client representatives, other security officers, and supervisor as needed.
- Maintain the highest standard of conduct to create optimal client confidence.
- Perform all other duties as directed.
- Must have proof of Covid-19 vaccination and be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Must have an active security license for the state of VA.
- Must have a minimum of (2) years experience as an armed or unarmed security officer or in law enforcement and/or military.
- Must present positive and professional appearance in dress (uniforms) and assigned equipment at all times.
- Must possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to identify and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Must have a valid driver's license from the state of residence.
