This franchisee owns a license to use McDonalds logos and food products, for example, when running the restaurant. However, this franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonalds USA. If you are hired for the job described in this posting, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonalds USA. Only the franchisee is responsible for employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervisions, staffing, and scheduling employees. Department managers have many key responsibilities in the restaurant which may include managing Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management systems, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers.
The Guest Service Department Managers responsibilities may include making sure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are done well, that all service staff are trained in service procedures, and that the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for the best service.
QualificationsPrevious managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Were looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who like to have fun, with the passion to work in the famously fast-paced McDonalds environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
