    Description

    **A Brief Overview:**

    Supports use of INCCRRA's data systems by providing technical assistance, instruction, and advice to system users; escalates issues related to the system as required; performs data entry for special projects.

    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

    Responds to inquiries relating to data system questions, issues, and problems to provide helpdesk support 95% of the time

    Performs data entry for special projects. 5% of the time

    Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

    **Equipment/Software Required:**

    Proficiency using the Internet, specifically web-based applications (in layman's terms, can they sign up for something get an account on , or sign up for their own email account through Google, etc.)

    Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; email

    Prior use of Zendesk (help desk software) is helpful, but not required (we provide training on how to use it)

    **Supervision Received**

    Less than once per week and very little deviation from a set "routine"

    Someone in this role may be asked a question or run into a situation with the data system that they have not encountered before. They will need to ask probing questions to get enough information from the end user to be able to sufficiently communicate the issue to a lead staff or supervisor, or to forward the question if it is better answered within another team. They may be able to come up with a "workaround", with or without input from lead staff/supervisor.

    **Education and/or Experience**

    Completion of 4-years of high school, or equivalent. OR a year of relevant job experience.

    **EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE REQUIRED**

    Proficiency using the Internet, specifically web-based applications

    Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; email
