    The Vice President of Total Rewards is a senior leadership role reporting into the CHRO, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the compensation and benefits programs for an organization


    Benefits Administration:

    Overseeing the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other employee perks.

    This involves managing relationships with benefit providers, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and evaluating the effectiveness of benefit programs.

    Performance Management:
    Collaborating with HR and business leaders to implement performance management systems and the impact on incentive programs


    Executive Compensation:
    Developing and managing executive compensation programs, including base salary, short-term and long-term incentives, and equity-based compensation plans. This involves working closely with the executive team to ensure alignment with business objectives.

    This includes creating materials, conducting training sessions, and leveraging various communication channels to ensure employees understand and appreciate the value of their compensation and benefits.


    Compliance and Governance:
    Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to compensation and benefits.

    This includes staying updated on changes in legislation, conducting audits, and working with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks.


    Data Analysis and Reporting:
    Utilizing data analytics to assess the effectiveness and competitiveness of the organization's total rewards programs. This involves analyzing compensation and benefits data, benchmarking against industry standards, and providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

    Chair Employee Benefits Committee:
    manage quarterly employee benefits committee meetings

    Staff Development:
    Manage, motivate and develop Total Rewards staff

    M&A:
    Manage compensation and benefit issues and integration efforts regarding merger & acquisition activity
    A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is often required.
    Significant experience in compensation and benefits management, preferably in a leadership role. This may include experience in designing and implementing total rewards programs, managing executive compensation, and overseeing benefits administration.

    Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to compensation and benefits, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), ERISA, and tax regulations.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs and make data-driven recommendations.

    Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex compensation and benefits concepts to various audiences, including senior executives and employees.


    Relationship Building and Collaboration:
    Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, such as HR leaders, finance teams, and executive management.

    Collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with other departments, such as legal, compliance, and finance, to ensure alignment and compliance with policies and regulations.

    Proficiency in compensation and benefits software and tools for data analysis, modeling, and administration.
    Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other relevant HR technology platforms.
