This project is looking for both entry level technicians as well as well tenured technicians to complete the team for this project. Below you will find the criteria for that. Rate varies based on experience but is set to be anywhere between 17-23 per hour with additional bonuses on top of the salary.
Tech 1 ($17 per hour)
Tenure: 0 months - 4 months

Description: New hire. Has ability to learn cable, Coax splicing and balance/sweep/cert. Able to work outside in all-weather climates, work at varying heights (in a bucket truck) and in vaults, working extended periods of time from a ladder, lift 50-100lbs. Able to work evening hours or overnight during maintenance window (1am – 5am) when required. Excited about career opportunity in telecommunications to include travel.
Tech 2 ($18-$20 per hour)
Tenure: 5 months+

Description: Successfully graduated training. Able to complete full production levels of coax splicing activity with minimal supervision and error rate. Can set levels at an active and complete auto-test proof of performance with minimal assistance. Able to work outside in all-weather climates, work at varying heights (in a bucket truck) and in vaults, working extended periods of time from a ladder, lift 50-100lbs. Able to work evening hours or overnight during maintenance window (1am – 5am) when required.
Tech 3 ($20-$23)
Tenure: 12 months+

Description: Tenured Coax production splicer. Has completed fiber training and can complete basic fiber splicing (pig tail of node and non-critical case work). Primary trainer. Has oversight responsibilities on day of cut activity within assigned node. Can identify network design issues and work to resolve as needed. Capable of troubleshooting network and powering issues under supervision of Sr OSP Field Engineer. Able to work outside in all-weather climates, work at varying heights (in a bucket truck) and in vaults, working extended periods of time from a ladder, lift 50-100lbs. Able to work evening hours or overnight during maintenance window (1am – 5am) when required.
