ECS is seeking a PPBE Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work in our Pentagon office.

Active Secret clearance is HIGHLY preferred, but (if selected and eligible) we can sponsor you for one.

Job Description:

ECS is seeking a PPBE SME to join a team providing configuration and capability support services for the Program and Budget Enterprise System (PBES) at the Pentagon in Washington, DC.

This position will be remote within the National Capital Region.

In this role you will provide the expertise in support of ERP related business process changes for the customer solution.

You will analyze current business processes, suggest improvements, and participate in design of new systems by conducting business systems analysis and design, data modeling, process flow modeling, and process reengineering.

Specific tasks you will perform as a PPBE SME include, but are not limited to:
Provide application/development support.
Use the PPB and translate the processes into the specific requirements used to develop PBES.

Help translate functional requirements identified by PBES users to the technical team – helping to ensure technical solutions resolve the intent of the identified requirement.

Assist with training when requested – helping new users make the connection between the functions of PBES and the Air Force PPB processes.

Assist PBES users' desk-side, on the phone, or virtually – helping PBES users perform their required daily tasks.
Augment/assist the PBES helpdesk.
Translate PBES technical functionality to users such that users can apply the knowledge to perform daily tasks.

Required Skills:
U.S. Citizenship is required per contract.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
3+ years' experience specific to the AF PPB process.
7+ years' experience.

Directly related postgraduate study may be substituted for experience at the rate of three credit hours for three months of experience up to 36 credit hours.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field from an accredited college or university and / or equivalent experience.

Extensive knowledge of the PPB.

Desired Skills:
Government financial systems experience.
Agile process experience.
Jira process experience.
Experience using Confluence to manage documentation.
Experience working with a CI/CD pipeline.
Working knowledge of the BES Atlassian Tool Suite.
Experience with Docker and / or Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Experience with Data Relationship Management Suite.

Experience with Oracle Technologies such as Oracle Business -Intelligence Enterprise Edition, Oracle Data Visualization, Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition, Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Hyperion/DRM/OBIEE and Oracle DB Server.
