    Job Skills / RequirementsRising Star Resource Development Corporation is seeking an experienced and hands on individual to join our team of professionals whose duties consist of management of cleaning crew, floor services and special services in facility maintenance.

    Knowledge and application of industrial standards as well as Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. The Custodian will coordinate activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining federal grounds and buildings.

    This labor- intense job is expected to be performed in a professional manner at all times while servicing our customer's properties.

    Work Location:
    Greenville, MS Federal FacilitiesGreenville, MS and surrounding areas

    Essential Functions:
    The qualified candidate should be outgoing, energetic, and motivated with at least 2 years of custodian servicesMaintain cleanliness of all office, restrooms and laboratories dailyMaintains floors; sweep, mop, scrubbing and Hi-Speeding as requiredRegular and punctual attendanceCoordinates and performs general custodial functions such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and light fixturesRestroom cleaning and disinfect, replenishment of paper supplies and soap and sweeping and mopping nightlyPerforms minor maintenance and repair work on custodial equipmentInspects areas for quality assurance per Custodial Log BookCleans office furniture, walls, windows, water faucets and floors of stains and finger printsOperates floor maintenance equipment, buffers, stripper, backpack vacuum and mop ringerAbility to deal effectively with the publicMaintains inventory records of equipment and supplies as well as reorder requestReliable Transportation PreferredMay train others and Performs related work as assigned

    The following describes the overall strength demand of the functions performed by the incumbent during a typical workday.

    Light to medium liftingMachines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids:
    The essential functions of this position require the use of cleaning supplies such as: mop, cleaning chemicals, vacuum and possibly a buffer

    Environmental Factors:
    The essential functions of this position are performed indoors in 70-80 degrees. Potential exists for lifting up to 30 pounds.


    Compensation :
    This will be an Hourly Position, see below for wage range
