Sodexo is in search of a full-time Registered Dietitian for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the main campus and Our Lady of the Lake Ascension hospital in Baton Rouge and Gonzales, LA. With the main campus boasting 900 beds as a Level 1 Trauma Center, and Ascension being a 50-bed community hospital, this is an opportunity to work at Louisiana's largest healthcare facility. Enhance your skills by working with high acuity patients and having order writing privileges. As a part of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, the commitment is to promote a healthy community through exceptional patient care and education.

The ideal candidate will:

• Must be a Registered Dietitian before the start date
• Provide nutritional care across various inpatient units
• Work every 8th weekend providing coverage across the hospital
• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
• Supervise dietetic interns

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of necessary coursework and supervised practice per the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those pursuing registration after 2023, a master's degree is required).

• Meets eligibility conditions for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will be registered within 120 days of hiring. In certain states and facilities, RD/RDN credentials are mandatory at hiring
• Certification/licensure as mandated by state(s) of practice
