    Description

    Job Description:
    The Accounting Clerk will support the finance department by performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with company policies and procedures.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.

    Reconcile bank statements and ledger entries.

    Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

    Maintain and update accounting records and files.

    Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.

    Support month-end and year-end close processes.

    Assist with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.

    Communicate with vendors and suppliers to address payment issues and resolve discrepancies.

    Perform data entry and assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records.

    Support the finance team with various administrative tasks as needed.


    Qualifications:
    Proven 2 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.

    Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

    Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

    High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

    Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

    Strong data entry skills with the ability to handle large volumes of information.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
