The position available is structural engineer. The structural engineer will work within a design team to complete projects on time and on budget. The structural engineering position will entail the analysis and design of new and existing structures. Responsibilities include:

• Review of architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing plans.
• Develop code specified dead, live, snow and lateral loads to be applied to the structure.
• Analysis and design of structure in accordance with the applicable design codes.
• Provide design information and sketches to draft technician for the preparation of construction drawings.
• Provide construction services, such as response to contractor's questions, review of shop drawings and site visits to inspect progress of work.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree in Structural/Civil Engineering.
• Taken and Passed FE/EIT (preferred)
• (3) years minimum of structural design experience in steel, concrete, masonry and wood. (preferred)
• Working knowledge of building design codes including ASCE-7, IBC and IRC.
• Working knowledge of material design codes including AISC, ACI, Masonry and NDS.
• Proficient in AutoCad, structural design software and MS office products.
• Ability to communicate clearly through oral and written methods.

Salary compensation will be based on experience level.
