    Training & Development Coordinator, People & Culture
    People & Culture

    Reporting to the Manager of People & Culture, the Training & Development coordinator provides administrative and project support to the Department and the Manager of People & Culture.

    T&D Coordinator designs, develops and delivers strategic employee learning and development programs including, but not limited to, onboarding of new staff, career development and growth, assigning mandatory training sessions through various modalities including presentations to large or small groups, e-learning and interactive sessions, etc.

    Responsibilites

    • Recommends, designs and implements innovative learning and development programs that support the full employment lifecycle, including onboarding and career development.
    • Program development and delivery facilitated both on-line and in person.
    • Assesses needs, analyzes gaps, researches best practices to identify and implement successful and innovative learning and development programs.
    • Coordinates learning and development program activities including forming committees, scheduling, event logistics and vendor relations.
    • Identifies, develops and offers training in the use of online resources and technologies to support organizational development.
    • Maintains technical expertise and knowledge of best practices in online educational trends, changes and developments, and service strategies.
    • Manages the museum's internship program, including proposal reviews, budget allocation, full-cycle recruitment, and planning intern events
    • Assist in recruitment and onboarding of internship and part-time positions
    • Leads New-Employee Orientation for all new staff
    • Assigns TB Tests and LiveScans for eligible candidates
    • Updates and maintains museum's organizational charts
    • Tracks authorized company vehicle driver records and authorizations
    • Responds to various employee inquiries relating to HR policies, procedures, operations and benefits
    • Conducts Temporary and Part-Time departing employee exit meeting
    • Performs other related duties as assigned to support overall organization and employee development initiatives.
    • Maintains regular and reliable attendance

    • The expected hourly for this Los Angeles, CA based position is $ $30.00/ Hour, subject to change, and the position is eligible for LACMA's comprehensive benefits package, including pension plan.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, Educational Leadership, Business or related field.
    • At least four years of related experience required in HR, Training & Development, and office administration
    • Effective oral and written communication of policies, procedures, etc
    • Experience speaking in public and presenting information to large and small groups
    • Tech Savvy: Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
