    Description

    General Description

    Flexsys is seeking to hire a Staff Accountant. Candidates should possess extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

    The Staff Accountant assists with account reconciliations, journal entries and month end close activities. Collaborates with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies, supports special projects and provides support during the annual audit process.


    Position Responsibilities:


    • Preform accounting functions required to maintain the general ledger in compliance with GAAP and company policy and procedures.
    • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
    • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
    • Complete month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely reporting
    • Assist with financial audits and bank compliance
    • Partner with other accounting functions, including AR, AP, Plant controllership, Treasury and Tax.
    • All other duties as assigned
    Requirements


    Position Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in accounting
    • Public accounting experience
    • Two to four years professional accounting experience. (public and industry preferred)
    • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Advanced competency in ERP accounting software. SAP experience preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Superb organizational and time management abilities
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
