    This position ensures seamless and efficient management of clinical technology, fostering innovation, and enhancing the overall quality of healthcare delivery.

    They will lead strategic initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement best practices.


    Work hours:
    Hybrid
    • Monday to Friday between 6 am to 5 pm.
    Occasional weekend work for scheduled upgrades or unscheduled system impairment/outages. Participate in rotation with the IS leadership team serving as an escalation contact for on-call staff.
    The annual salary range for this opportunity is $96,990/annually to $145,454/annually, with a median salary of $121,222/annually. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees.

    Primary Job ResponsibilitiesTransformational LeaderEstablish a structure and methodology for sharing and communicating that will create visibility and enhance cohesive planning for successful execution of value-based work.

    Maintains knowledge of the business needs, strategic initiatives, and emerging trends to proactively engage in all aspects of the business and process decisions.

    Promote and create cross-functional opportunities that will generate collaborative dialog, share perspectives, and remove assumptions to motivate teams to go beyond the status quo.

    Evolve a team and approach of design-thinking where the team relates to the users and provide iterative and advanced solutions by asking the right questions, generating innovative ideas, and choosing the best answers.

    Lead and inspire cross-functional teams across Information Systems (IS) and clinical/business departments.
    Promote an innovative culture, design thinking, and the proactive contribution of technology ideas.
    Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of newly integrated software programs and applications.
    Lead the development of the overall team portfolio by critically evaluating requests based on objectives, strategies, and dependencies.

    Integrated portfolio planning with Performance and Integration leadership to sequence out work to ensure the teams efforts are aligned with value-based work.

    Capacity planning based on the categories of work, resource allocation and dependencies.

    Capable and proficient of agile approach with evaluating work to adjust portfolio as needed based on the changing impacts and environment.

    Motivate and lead the team to achieve objectives and meet deliverables by providing direction on current objectives as well as insight into the big picture.

    Expand on exploration to increase knowledge sharing and team awareness to various perspectives and ideas.
    Enhance the capabilities of comprehensive and objective dialog between teams to mitigate roadblocks and assumptions.
    Develop key procedures and metrics to ensure success and identify opportunities for improvement.


    Staff Supervision and Operational Oversight:


    Provide knowledgeable support to the team in operational aspects, solution exploration, and advancement in areas like analytics, electronic health record, infrastructure, architecture, and business support.

    Outline training and knowledge sharing opportunities that will evolve and advance the teams skills in system integration, and EMR enhancements.

    Proactively assess and address work to deliver on aligned objectives.

    Partner with various governance and steering committees to prioritize projects, evaluate progress, and ensure solutions meet the needs of the organization.

    Oversee, evaluate, and develop skills and performance of team members through assessment, coaching, and education opportunities to encourage innovation, growth, and loyalty to the company.

    Design, develop, operate, and maintain assigned systems to ensure availability, reliability, performance and integrity and provides effective, professional and timely support in conformance with service level agreements (SLA).Assists in development of project plans, budgets, and schedules.

    Provides input prioritization of resources for competing projects.

    Assists with the overall strategic plan and vision, as well as maintenance, support, development, reporting, vendor interfacing, problem resolution and issue management for the applications that are supported.

    Manage the application maintenance and support team and provide direct communications to IS and clinical/business leadership and personnel within the supported business unit(s).Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new applications into existing systems and software throughout the enterprise.

    Ensure that integration planning and practices are aligned with strategic business goals and the companys overall strategic vision.

    Liaise with software developers and engineers to address issues in program logic and the interoperability of new applications with existing systems software.

    Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of clinical systems.

    Work with staff and physicians to optimize the usage of clinical systems through education and training, quality outcomes, and providing support in accordance with organizational goals.

    Develop specifications that will support the design and successful implementation of clinical applications across the organization.
    QualificationsRequiredBachelors degree in MIS, Business Administration, Information Technology or a healthcare related field or equivalent experience.
    Minimum of 3 years of content experience in leading teams.
    Minimum of 3 years and knowledge in portfolio management, process improvement, and business strategy.
    Experience with cross-functional teams and the ability to direct and drive effectively.
    Broad knowledge of hospital operations and associate technologies.
