    Be part of the Saint Therese difference We are seeking Nurse Supervisors (RN) to join a dynamic team at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers. Positions available: 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday working every other weekend. This position will also work every other holiday.

    Location Information

    Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury.

    Since 2016, Saint Therese of Woodbury is our youngest community. Social vibrancy, distinctive living spaces and a continuum of care blend to create a unique senior living experience. We offer 216 independent, assisted living and memory care apartments; 56 skilled and transitional care suites. The Redwoods Senior Apartments, adjacent to the main campus opened in November 2017.

    Responsibilities:

    Manages and supervises the activities of a shift in the care center. Acts as a resource in interpreting nursing policies and procedures and their application to residents and staff. Assigns staff to handle campus emergencies in the absence of administrative staff.

    Qualifications:

    Experience: Three years of nursing experience is required. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but not required. Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills.

    Special knowledge, skills and abilities:

    • Demonstrated working knowledge of nursing department functions with special emphasis on compliance with Federal and State Regulations
    • Knowledge of the scope of the Minnesota Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act
    • Demonstrated ability to participate in and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
    • Effective time management/prioritization and critical thinking skills
    • Demonstrated written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
    • Basic knowledge of computers and related software and particular familiarity with databases
