    Principal Communications Group, a leading PR firm focused on the business of media and entertainment representing movie and television studios, large content production companies and related franchises, media CEOs, and major streamers, is seeking a Manager of Communications to work alongside the industrys best in a team supported environment.

    The Manager of Communications will work directly with the firms partners on a wide range of media relations and executive communications including executing on day-to-day business and media relations and developing clear, consistent communication strategies and messages for the companys suite of clients. The unique nature of the firm also allows the Manager with the opportunity to learn and grow with exposure to C-level individuals across the entertainment ecosystem.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Serve as the day-to-day account manager for several marquee clients spanning studios, independent production companies, sports concerns and more.
    • Liaise with clients, team members, and media to service announcements and news in accordance with set strategy and firms guidelines.
    • Work with the firms partners in crafting, updating, and executing communications plans encompassing media relations and executive communications.
    • Research and develop briefing materials, executive talking points, backgrounders, and preparation for client engagements as needed.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications in the media and entertainment industry.
    • Strong track record in media relations with trade press writing press releases and assisting in the creation of media relations initiatives. Experience with business and financial media a plus.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation and facilitation skills.
    • Proven strategic planning and project management capabilities.
    • Highly professional demeanor and diplomatic skills. Ability to create effective partnerships at all levels of the organization as a collaborative team player.
    • Strong analytical skills and research capabilities.
    • Bachelor's Degree required preferably with focus on Communications, English, Business, or Research.
    • Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to work well with a variety of personalities and work styles.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple projects under strict time constraints.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality standards.
    • Strong work ethic.
    • Able to work fully remote.
