- Candidate shall work on various aspects of civil engineering design, plan preparation, permitting and construction oversight while working in a project team environment.
- Planning, design, and construction management of infrastructure projects focusing on water and wastewater projects, but could include other infrastructure projects. Projects may include the following: Wastewater Conveyance and Pump Stations; Water Supply; Water Distribution and Storage; Master planning services including hydraulic modeling, and more.
- Candidate would contribute to projects including collecting existing utility data; performing modeling and simulation; site grading; water distribution system; sanitary sewer collection system; drainage analysis; roadway alignment; pavement marking; signage; and erosion control.
- Prepare project design drawings utilizing AutoCAD and other design software
- Develop project specific detail drawings.
- Calculate project construction quantity estimates.
- Assist with technical specifications, cost estimates, reports, schedules, and other related tasks.
- Learn and adhere to client-specific standards.
- Coordinate with team members and client representatives.
- Periodic travel to project sites for field investigation and or construction support.
- Project outlines, project initiation, project schedules, project executions, and project closeout.
- Interface with multi-disciplinary design teams.
- Participate in local water and wastewater professional organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
- Master's Degree is a plus.
- Engineer-In-Training (EI) designation is preferred. The expectation is that such candidate would be working towards becoming a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Candidate shall have a minimum of three (3) years of experience; candidates with more experience preferred.
