- You will perform account maintenance and accounting support work for accounting systems, policies, and procedures to examine, verify and maintain and reconcile accounts and accounting data, prepare and analyze reports.
- You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy and compliance with regulations.
- You will answer requests and provide advice to employees, supervisors and financial specialist on pay related rules, regulations and procedures.
- You will be responsible for day-to-day execution, monitoring transactions, and providing command support.
- You will ensure all personnel receive required travel card training prior to being issued a travel card.
- You will monitor and input data information regarding property into the Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS).
- You will review and process missing time and attendance reports generated by Defense Civilian Personnel System (DCPS) and initiate corrective action.
- You will monitor travel claim reimbursements and correct travel claim reimbursement issues
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing financial technician services by utilizing automated financial systems to support accounting and budget operations for an organization or financial program
