Join a leading organization in the energy sector as a Mechanical Technician II, where your expertise in maintenance and reliability will contribute to the efficient operation of our Cowboy Cryo Plant.
Assist engineers in planning and testing mechanical components and machinery.
Support Operations with equipment startup, operation, and repair as needed.
Collaborate with I&E and Mechanics for troubleshooting and repair of plant systems.
Prepare proposals and cost estimates for maintenance work.
Participate actively in safety protocols and use of safety tools.
Review job packs and identify safety issues prior to work commencement.
Prioritize, plan, and execute assigned work within scheduling deadlines.
Record technical history as required by the workgroup.
Provide feedback on job pack improvements to Execution FLS.
Create permits and notify Supervisor regarding permit issuance.
Maintain facility roads and grounds, potentially using heavy equipment.
Skills & Qualifications
Reliability:
Strong focus on maintaining equipment and tools.
Maintenance Expertise:
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance.
Communication Skills:
Ability to clearly describe field conditions and recommend solutions.
Team Collaboration:
Effective teamwork with colleagues across various roles.
Adaptability:
Ability to manage tight deadlines and changing priorities.
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in Microsoft Office suite.
Education & Experience
Experience: 10+ years in a closely related field.
Certifications:
Discipline-appropriate certifications or equivalent professional experience.
Additional
Certifications:
Crane or equipment certifications are a plus.
