- Managing schedules and distribution of sales documentation
- Processing and distributing documentation between clients and internal departments
- Setting up and breaking down banquet events and meetings
- Communicating with clients via in-person, email, or telephone
- Networking and coordinating with various vendors and business partners
- Collecting necessary charges from pre-payment clients
- Staying familiar with all the room rates, special offers, and promotions
- Processing all reservations (Group, FIT, Corporate, Individual, etc.) made by various sources
- Checking that all reservations are made within the guidelines of daily status
- Being up to date with various information, including but not limited to: local services, facilities, conventions, events, and road closures
- Ensuring the Hotel is able to offer proper accommodations for clients with special needs and disabilities
- Maximizing sales opportunities to increase total revenue
- Identifying opportunities for value added service that is consistent with the image of the Hotel
- Ensuring client's needs are met up to the best of the Hotel's capability
- Assisting with the overall preparation of marketing plan, budget, and projects
- Complying with legislated health and safety requirements within workplace
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak in front of groups of clients or other employees
- Ability to compute basic calculations (ex: discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, etc.) and apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Work location is on-site; possible site visits to different vendors and clients
- Occasionally exposed to risk of radiation due to working with the computer
- Moderate noise in the work environment

SUMMARY
The Reservation/Sales Agent assists the reservation and sales departments to achieve annual budget per business plan by processing daily work, data computation, and completing assigned projects.
