Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments This energetic position involves assisting with a variety of landscaping, horticulture, and maintenance tasks to ensure our projects meet high standards of quality and aesthetic appeal. Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including edging, digging, and installing landscape features
- Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures
- Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons
- Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly for safety and efficiency
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment and power tools effectively
- Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and snow plowing
- Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques and horticulture principles
- Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows confidently
- Familiarity with operating machinery like excavators or other construction equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, planting, and health assessment
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and gardening techniques for sustainable landscaping
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks
- Attention to detail in landscape upkeep and hardscape installation projects
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members on diverse projects
