- Monitor trends and recommend/implement/coordinate corrective action to improve products, processes and methods to reduce cost and increase value in accordance with lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Maintain/monitor the manufacturing scrap analysis program. Implement corrective action to meet/exceed defined company objectives.

SUMMARY:
Provide assistance to production lines to ensure achievement of organizational goals. Resolve customer complaints and initiate corrective action. Develop supplier relationships in partnership with Sourcing Department. Develop/implement/update process procedures. Assist in Identifying cost reductions/value analysis for improvement of processes, products and methods. Works in cooperation with the mechanical/industrial engineer in conducting quality audits and capability studies to monitor, control and improve the manufacturing process. Uses lean manufacturing initiatives in all work methodologies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate's Degree in related field and 3-5 years experience in manufacturing/inspection processes; or the equivalent in combined education/experience.
Familiarity with work measurement techniques.
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Knowledge of personal computers and software - Windows 95/98/2000, Microsoft Office Products
