    As a Head Fitness Coach you can expect to perform the following duties:
    • Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
    • Making sure members are using the correct form and offering corrections if they aren't
    • Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general and being aware of what the competition is doing
    • Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
    • Being a team player
    JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:


    1. Responsible for creating a positive, high energy, respectful OTF studio environment
    2. Responsible for managing all aspects of the OTF fitness staff using the OTF business model.
    3. Hires, trains and educates new OTF group personal coaches for success using OTF business model.
    4. Responsible for organization and cleanliness of the training floor, as well as other area of the studio.
    5. Responsible for marketing, community outreach and studio in reach to grow the business
    6. Responsible for building OTF attendance, retaining current clientele and achieving monthly revenue budgets.
    7. Responsible for OTF training session schedule. Daily, Weekly and Monthly as well as management of the MBO system.
    8. Responsible for follow up communication with new, current and former OTF studio clients.
    9. Collects, reviews and coaches the personal training staff on program design and lesson plans
    10. Conducts monthly fitness staff meetings and attends all relative, mandatory webinars and other requested corporate meetings
    11. Handles member concerns in a professional, objective manner with the goal of resolution.
    12. Leads/instructs a minimum of 10 OTF training sessions per week including weekends if needed or instructed by your Studio Manager
    13. Leads or assists Sales Associates with OTF studio tours/sales with new prospects as well as staying current with pricing options.
    14. Maintain current, active employee files which include resume, CPR cards, fitness certifications, disciplinary items, emergency contact info, I-9 form and more.
    15. Must be flexible and willing to weekends when needed and as requested by your Studio Manager
    Head Coach (HC)
    1. Must invest 10+ hours per year in continuing education lectures and workshops outside of OTF curriculum.

    2. Bachelor's degree in an Exercise Related Field is preferred.

    3. Must have current CPR/AED certification

    4. 3+ years of professional experience teaching and/or managing in the Fitness Industry.

    5. Must understand heart rate focused training programs and the science that supports the OTF workouts.

    6. Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Additionally, you'll need to meet these requirements:
    • Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness (ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA)
    • Be AED/CPR certified
    • Please do not apply if you do not currently have one of the above certifications.
    • If you have a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science or a related field, you will have 6 months to obtain a CPT if hired.
    Specific job duties and selection requirements vary between Orangetheory studio locations and more details can be provided by the studio's hiring manager if you are selected to move forward in the interview process.
