    is the home of Kodak Moments Thermal Media Manufacturing and the Windsor Regional Distribution Center. The operations are responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of thermal media for photographic applications.

    Position Summary
    Kodak Alaris is looking for a self-motivated

    quality engineer

    to join our Kodak Moments Thermal Media Manufacturing Operation in Windsor, Colorado. The Thermal Media Manufacturing Operation is an integral part of the Kodak Moments worldwide photo printing business.

    The primary objective of this role is to support the production of Thermal Media products through the continual improvement of process and product quality and the systems that surround them.

    In addition, this role would act as the ISO 9001 Management Representative for the site.

    The successful candidate for this position must be a problem-solver at their core, have a strong quality & customer-focused mindset, and have the personal drive and stamina for relentless, continual improvement (personally and professionally).

    Key Responsibilities
    Day to day manufacturing support

    (quality, procedural adherence, troubleshooting, and testing) for thermal media products.

    This individual will act as the ISO 9001 Management Representative with authority to identify and evaluate quality problems and to recommend and initiate effective solutions and corrective actions.

    This role will work directly with Operations, Engineering and Management

    Provide quality support, including qualification, method development, calibration, measurement system analysis, procedural development and routine maintenance and repair for analytical testing equipment including but not limited to UV vis Spectrophotometers, FTIR Spectrometer and EDXRF.

    Coordinating calibration of manufacturing testing equipment
    Supplier quality management including leading improvements utilizing Lean methodologies, Statistical Process Control, supplier scorecards and ensuring supplier compliance.
    Root cause investigation and follow up on product nonconformance issues and customer complaints.
    Lead projects to improve quality and streamline workflow.
    Participate in multidisciplinary teams on new product development initiatives.
    Required Skills
    Quality engineering experience in a chemical and/or material manufacturing environment
    Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015

    Specific training and demonstrated success in applying quality problem solving methods such as fishbone diagrams, FMEA, process capability analysis, hypothesis testing, DoE, SPC, etc.

    Familiarity with analytical testing equipment and calibration techniques
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to present complex data in a concise effective manner.
    Works across various job functions and extended teams to ensure success of projects.
    Quick learner and highly self-motivated
    Data driven and results oriented.
    Desired Skills
    Six-Sigma (Green and/or Black black) and Lean Manufacturing training
    ASQ Certified Quality Engineer desired
    Experience using JMP, Minitab or other statistical analysis software

    Education and Experience
    BS or MS in Chemistry, Engineering, or Material Science desired

    Compensation:
    $73,000 - $110,000 annual, depending on experience
