- Assess and evaluate students' physical needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' physical development and academic success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and objectives.
- Provide training and support to school staff and families on strategies to assist students with physical challenges.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of physical therapy.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Mexico.
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
