- Experience reading healthcare EOBs
- Proficiency with PCs, especially databases, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Comfort with basic book-keeping skills
- Experience in Accounts Receivable preferred
- Medical coding preferred, but not required

Job DescriptionOur multi-location oral surgery clinic is looking to expand its business office (accounts receivable department). We are looking for a highly-motivated, independent, detail-oriented worker that is willing to take on insurance companies to get our patients the benefits they deserve in a timely manner. This person will work closely with the Business Office Managers to create and track claims to medical and dental insurances, apply payments to patient accounts, and provide support to the doctors, staff, and patients for any coding, insurance, or billing issue.
A large part of this position will be ensuring that all of our contracted insurance companies are paying at the appropriate fee schedules, as well as investigating outstanding claims and contacting insurance companies to get fast and efficient payment. We are looking for someone with tenacity who won't be easily swayed by insurance company trickery If you are up to the task, we'd love to have you on board
