    Wipro Givon USA has an exciting new opportunity for a Production Planner to join our team. This position coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments.

    Abilities - Are you a good fit:
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
    • Ability to write reports and business correspondence, effectively present information, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
    • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    • Three (3) years of experience with ERP databases preference in aerospace

    Job Duties and Responsibilities - What will you do daily:
    • Ensures that proper inventory levels are maintained and/or procured to allow production work to be performed on schedule to meet delivery commitments.
    • Creates and issues work orders, as prompted by production schedule data contained in the company's MRP computer system.
    • Monitors incoming material as it is received and determines schedule for the issuance of corresponding work orders.
    • Creates "split" work orders as needed or directed and completes any and all corresponding documentation.
    • Coordinates with Purchasing department to resolve material issues.
    • Reviews sales order material requirements and identify shortages. Follows up with purchasing and contracts to clear shortages.
    • Monitors the movement of materials from one department to another.
    • Responsible for given work line/program, analyzes work-to-start for work order requirements, and determines lot size including new job start-up.
    • Analyzes rework cost.
    • Reviews manufacturing tickler and slides or accelerates work orders as required.
    • Reviews M.R.B. and incomplete parts.
    • Analyzes DCRs/ELRs.
    • Continuously informs Production Control Manager of critical or potentially critical delivery or schedule problems.
    • Communicates with Sales/Contracts department to support customer requirements and requests.
    • Coordinates requirements with the Production Control Shop Scheduler.
    • Communicates with Production Control Supervisor in other divisions to support customer requirements.
    • Meets established standards for productivity and quality. Confers with supervisor when problems arise, which impact expected level of performance.
    • Responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance to ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
    • Performs any task required to support customer requirements and company goals.
