- Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
- Properly unload freight from over the road trucks.
- Responsible for accurately recording the condition of freight as it arrives at the warehouse.
- Stack empty pallets to no more than 14 high and kegs to no more than 3 high. Organize and store them using P.I.T. equipment.
- Restock shelving units with product so it is available for night shift as they deplete stock.
- Assists other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance the workload, organize warehouses, and perform general cleaning.
- Rotate product to make sure the freshest product is picked first in the night shift.
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
- 1-year of forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency effectively with minimal errors.
- Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.
- Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
