    Job Overview

    In this role you will perform deployment and application support for INFICON semiconductor products focusing on our FabGuard software for Fault Detection and Classification (FDC).

    This work will be located primarily in Oregon for the initial year or two, but is likely to include travel to other locations in the future.


    Responsibilities

    • Deploy and support INFICON's FabGuard software for FDC.
    • Create recipes and data analysis of tool based sensors, INFICON sensors, and third-party sensors for the purposes of Fault Detection and Classification using FabGuard.
    • Provide technical assistance within areas of specialty for customers.
    • Provide written and oral feedback to the customer on applications work including process troubleshooting, recipe development, and advanced analysis techniques.
    • Provide written and oral feedback to onsite Program Manager on weekly activities, customer requests, needs and requirements.
    • Provide onsite training on INFICON products including software, hardware usage, and basic troubleshooting.
    • Provide installation support of INFICON equipment as needed.
    • Be able to support regional sales by providing technical demonstrations and presenting product offerings in technical presentations.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related with 3 years of work experience in semiconductor or related area is required.
    • Master of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related is preferred.
    • Solid understanding of Semiconductor Processes and OEM tools including Lithography, PVD, CVD, ALD, Etch and CMP is required.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both external and internal customer relationships.
    • Ability to adapt to various field situations and to foster strong relationships with internal and external customers.
    • Experience and understanding of Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), Statistical Process Control, Computer Networking, and Factory Automation in fabs is required.
    • Experience with Tool Maintenance, Run-to-Run Control, and Industrial Engineering in fabs is preferred.
    • Requires strong Analytical Skills and Critical Thinking to Solve Complex Problems
    • Requires strong organizational and computer skills.
    • Must be able to work independently.
    • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
