    Description

    The Environmental Chemistry Laboratory (ECL) is seeking candidates who are detail oriented with great organizational skills to manage budgetary, administrative, and facilities operations and are passionate about protecting the communities and environment from toxic chemicals.

    As an Associate Governmental Program Analyst you will have the opportunity to:

    • Manage ECL Budget and Expenditure database to ensure program operates within the allotted budget
    • Provide Management with periodic budget reports on balances of contracts and blanket purchase orders (POs)
    • Initiate funding requests, draft scope of work, and coordinate with Contracts Unit to develop contracts for laboratory and equipment services
    • Work with vendors to get required forms and documents to develop blanket POs for office and laboratory supplies and equipment
    • Manage and track all service contracts and POs for goods. Processes invoices and packing slips on goods purchased and services rendered and enters invoices in database
    Desirable Qualifications We Look For:
    • Preferred 1 year experience in budget, contract and/or grant management
    • Experience working in a science-related field
    • Preferred 1 year experience with administrative duties
