    Description

    Our retail client is seeking a product manager to join their team on a long-term W2 contract. The product manager will lead the development of new experiences that will define product strategy, develop, launch, and enhance products and services. You'll work closely with our software teams to define product requirements and coordinate resources from key stakeholders. You'll also be responsible for identifying and tracking KPIs as you build these amazing experiences.

    This position is fully onsite and requires 5 days in office at their Irving, TX headquarters. All McKinley roles offer a competitive benefits package.

    Responsibilities

    • Translate business goals and end-user needs into product strategy; communicate direction and product priorities to the development team, other matrixed teams, and third-party partners
    • Identify goals, metrics, and analytics to determine product value
    • Manage and groom the product backlog
    • Monitor research as well as the competitive landscape to recommend the best solutions and ensure that products remain or become best-in-class
    • Work with user research and testing team to formulate, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing
    • Create, prioritize and accept user stories; incorporate them into release planning
    • Identify and consider pros, cons, issues, obstacles, dependencies and value associated with features and enhancements
    • Participate in and leads standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos, and retrospectives
    • Manage cross functional team and stakeholder expectations to execute on product strategy and provides education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience

    Requirements

    • Bachelors Degree
    • At least five years of experience working in digital/agile product management
    • Three years of experience translating customer needs into product features and user interface design to deliver an unparalleled customer experience
    • Significant experience working with design and engineering; managing full-stack teams
