Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (English/Spanish) Restaurant Store Supervisor or Manager to lead our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness. Your energetic leadership will motivate staff, streamline processes, and foster a welcoming environment for both guests and team members. Schedule: Rotating 5 day on / 2 day off schedule on multiple shifts to connect with all employees
Pay Schedule: We pay bi-weekly on Wed
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Lead and train team members on food handling, safety protocols, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
- Oversee inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels using POS systems such as Toast and Margin Edge.
- Supervise shift management activities, including scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations using Hot schedules.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation in accordance with local health codes.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Support budgeting efforts by monitoring costs related to food production, labor, and supplies while maximizing profitability.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in full service kitchen or casual dining restaurants; hotel dining or fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with diverse team members and customers.
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast and Margin Edge; cash handling skills are essential. (We can train you on this program if you do not have it today)
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, interviewing candidates, and developing talent.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and food industry regulations.
- Servsafe certified is a must
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
