    Description
    *Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Site Administrator/Coordinator the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing services to patients within a correctional environment. The LPN delivers nursing care as directed by the Physician within the scope of the State Board of Nursing Practice for the LPN.

    *Pay Rate: $32/hour**Shift differential $2.00/hr**Free CEU's**Matching 401k**Now offering PayActiv so you have access to the money you have earned before pay day** *Respond and intervein to all emergency situations** *Conduct Patient Intake paperwork** *Verify and obtain orders for patient medication** *Conduct Sick Call clinic** *Order / maintain supply of patient medication from pharmacy** *Administer medications following nursing standards and correctional regulations** *Complete and document ordered treatments, patient care, and collection ordered labs** *Assist provider with Chronic Care Clinic and Provider sick call visit** *Monitor for, report and document changes in patient's condition** *Accurately document all patient information, nursing care and interventions** *Ensure daily nursing task are completed within prescribed timeframe.
    * *Maintain patient confidentiality** *Assist with training and orientation of new personnel** *Follow QCHC policies, procedures & guidelines** *Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

    *Requirements: *Successful completion of an Accredited Vocational/Technical School**Current and valid LPN or LVN license**Current CPR**Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a health care setting as an LPN.
    *One year experience in a correctional health care setting is preferred.
