    Position: MRI Technologist

    Location: Norwood Office

    Schedule: 2nd shift, 3pm-10pm

    Responsibilities:

    As an MRI Technologist at Riverhills Neuroscience, you will play a crucial role in patient care, contributing to both clinical and administrative functions. Your responsibilities include:

    • Perform MRI examinations of all types, as directed by physicians.
    • Obtain complete patient/implant history to ensure all safety requirements are met.
    • Obtain lab work information to ensure appropriate creatinine levels for contrast studies and administers contrast agents with documentation in the EMR with anticipation of the potential for adverse reactions.
    • Apply independent judgment to produce studies of excellent quality, confirming quality with radiologist, and reporting any routine protocol changes to administrator and co-workers.
    • Assist with the scheduling of patients to ensure timeliness of exam and compliance with contrast policies.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Background and Experience:

    • Associates Degree of Science in Radiological Technology required.
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & AED training required.
    • Experience with an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice management system is required.
    • Ability to calmly handle multiple tasks at once.
    • Great interpersonal skills with sound judgment, maturity, and an ability to establish good rapport with patients, physicians, vendors, and staff.
    • Ability to deal with patients, physicians and staff with tact and diplomacy.
