- Perform detailed neurological examinations to assess cognitive function, motor skills, sensory abilities, cranial nerves, and autonomic functions
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including EEG, EMG, NCS and neuroimaging studies like MRI and CT scans, to confirm diagnosis and formulate treatment plans.
- Provide personalized support and advocacy for patients' needs and rights, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.
- Stay informed about the latest developments and advancements in medical research and treatment options in neurology and related medical fields.
- Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication related to neurological disorders
- Provide patient-centered care rooted in evidence-based medicine
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and progress in a timely manner
- Order supportive care services for patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions and treatment options
- Others duties as deemed necessary to ensure the ultimate care and safety of patients
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Florida
- Board Certified in Neurology
- Board Certified in Electro Myelography (EMG)
- DEA license
- Seasoned professional with a clinical background in highly complex medical conditions
- Excellent clinical assessment skills
- Empathetic and compassionate nature
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMRs) and relevant software
- Ability to perform, read EMG, NCS, EEG
- Must pass a background check
