    Description Are you passionate about applying your knowledge, skills and talent to evolving systems? If so, we 're looking for someone like you to join our team at APL We are seeking a highly motivated Dynamic Object Oriented Requirement System (DOORS) Administrator to help us manage the IBM Rational DOORS requirements database for various Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs.

    The position applies knowledge of standard system engineering processes as they relate to requirements management. The role requires regular computer use to include IBM Rational DOORS and Microsoft Office products.

    You will be joining a hardworking team of individuals with a broad range of experience, from both internally at APL and external industry organizations As a DOORS Administrator, you will You will manage the IBM Rational DOORS requirements database for various programs on both Classified and Unclassified information systems Create user accounts and manage access to multiple DOORS databases Troubleshoot and resolve DOORS errors from both users and automated scripting Develop and run scripts to automate DOORS tasks such as linking, post-processing, archiving and error checking You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document their needs, and translate them into well-defined requirements to facilitate analysis, modeling and simulation (M&S), and/or system design.

    Qualifications You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you Possess a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering and 2 years of prior relevant experience In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required Experience with requirements management in DOORS or similar Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products Strong organization and training skills with a high attention to detail Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced engineering environment Strong communication skills including effective written, verbal, and listening Are able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance.

    If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information.

    Eligibility requirements include U.S.

    citizenship You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you Have a MS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics or other relevant technical discipline Have 5 years of demonstrated experience in DOORS administration Have experience with MagicDraw and Cameo Hold an Active Secret clearance Why work at APL?
