- Lead and manage the monthly, semi-annual, and fiscal year-end closing processes, ensuring both accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on corporate performance metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Oversee tax compliance, including coordination with corporate and external experts on state, sales, and property taxes.
- Manage accounts receivable and credit processes to optimize cash flow and reduce financial risks.
- Implement and supervise cost control procedures, overseeing cost systems and methodologies.
- Ensure the integrity of financial transactions and records, maintaining accurate ledgers.
- Direct and optimize cash management practices, including month-end account reconciliations.
- Coordinate the activities of the cash management, cost accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable teams.
- Facilitate the annual audit process, working closely with auditors to resolve any findings.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and address any new developments in financial reporting.

SUMMARY:
The Accounting Manager is responsible forg overseeing the general accounting Company accounting policies, functions, administering best practices and other internal controls and primarily concerning the accuracy and maintenance of the ledger accounts and the resultant financial statements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years in accounting roles, with over 5 years in a managerial capacity, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & JD Edwards.
Other Requirements:
Strong supervisory experience and ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
