The mission of the Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR) is to become a trusted partner to every Coloradan to help them navigate the complexities of government so they can thrive.As a Tax Examiner I, you will be responsible for examining returns and payments for various taxes, identifying errors and discrepancies, and providing guidance to taxpayers. You'll be joining a close-knit team who promotes team building and supporting each other.
The typical day as a Tax Examiner I includes examining taxpayer accounts, adjusting returns and payments between filing periods, identifying duplicate returns and payments, documenting pertinent account information within the taxpayer's account..
